Her practice focuses on complex antitrust investigations and litigation, with particular experience in merger review and enforcement actions, conduct investigations, and trial work involving highly regulated industries.
During her six-year tenure as Assistant Chief of the Transportation, Energy, and Agriculture Section, she worked on and oversaw dozens of investigations and multiple trials and was responsible for second-line review of hundreds of HSR-reportable transactions. As a trial attorney, Katherine led multiple second-request investigations and played key roles on many high-profile investigations and litigations. She has worked on litigated matters involving oilfield services, agricultural inputs, civil aviation, telecom, and advertising.
Katherine has received multiple Assistant Attorney General awards, including the Award of Distinction for outstanding work as lead of a merger investigation, as well as numerous team awards recognizing exceptional litigation and investigative efforts.
